cd’s that changed my life
since i posted my favorite songs the other day, i keep thinking that the list isn’t an accurate representation of my favorite music as a whole. a lot of those songs have sentimental value but aren’t songs i’d actually listen to otherwise (ie, ice cube). so, here is my list of favorite albums, or what i refer to as: cd’s that changed my life.
- gold- ryan adams (2001): songs you should check out: the rescue blues, nobody girl, goodnight hollywood blvd.
- heavier things- john mayer (2003): come back to bed, split screen sadness, only heart
- interventions & lullabies- the format (2003): give it up, tie the rope, let’s make this moment a crime
- australia- howie day (2000): she says, everything else, morning after
- before these crowded streets- dave matthews band (1998): crush, the dreaming tree, pig
- songs for silverman- ben folds (2005): gracie, trusted, time

- oh, inverted world- the shins (2001): know your onion!, girl inform me, girl on the wing

For the record, I did read this and knew it was on your top 15, but I was more looking for you to be proud of me/have a discussion later about what songs are best. I’m not sure I agree with the three you have listed here, but it’s still early.
