sytycd does the white stripes

so you think can dance is one of my favorite tv shows of all time. admittedly, this season has been pretty lackluster. apparently, none of the contestants have any personality whatsoever, and i find myself fastforwarding through all of the judges’ commentary every week.

this is the 5th season of the show, and each summer, the music has gotten generally better. of course the “boom boom pow” routines are unavoidable, but lately, there has been alot of (too much) missy higgins and the like.

last night, the top 12 contestants did a group routine to “seven nation army.” not the best song ever, but i thought it was pretty cool. plus, tabitha and napoleon choreographed it.

and because i can, i’ll plug my favorite dance of the season so far. some glen hansard action for you people. (please, please, please put this on the finale. please.)
